Consulting

I am available for paid consulting with HTML Purifier. Please contact me at admin@htmlpurifier.org for a free quote. Consulting services vary, but previous clients have commissioned new features and integrations with other software. As always, general support requests will be answered on the the forums, but if you desire guaranteed one-on-one attention or custom code, paid consulting is for you!

About Me

Edward Z. Yang is the lead developer for HTML Purifier. Extremely proficient in PHP, and moderately experienced in JavaScript, C++, XSLT, Java, LaTeX and SQL (he does not believe that HTML, XML or CSS are programming languages), he has been responsible for writing, among other things, a defunct literature management system, an active system status monitor and miscellaneous educational games. When not programming per se, he can be found working on PHP's documentation (specifically the docs for the Subversion extension) and giving advice on DevNetwork forums. Occasionally you'll find him wielding Adobe Photoshop, Inkscape, or his administrative powers over at Wikipedia.

When not on the computer, Edward enjoys jogging, playing Oboe and singing.

About This Website

This website is powered by XHTML Compiler, a home-grown, cutting edge content-management framework that combines the simplicity and speed of plain old HTML files with the dynamic power of technologies based on open-standards such as XML, XSLT, XInclude, and XPath. XHTML source files are compact, modular and easily manageable with SVN. An XML-based architecture ensures that documents will always be standards-compliant and accessible. XHTML Compiler “does XHTML right”, by serving it as application/xml+xhtml to browsers that support it.

XHTML Compiler has not been released in any specific capacity, but the well-documented source code can be browsed at the SVN repository.
