Using filters without cleaning

After days of trying to configure purifier to clean our html we realized that it was not possible (stripping out forms and all other data we need - this is absurd btw. There are people out there who just want to clean their code as they go from one CMS to another for example). Unfortunately we already wrote complex filters for url and images. Is there a way to keep these without having any stripping/modifying going on? I figured we'll just have to write our own regex to do what we need as far as cleaning the html

Thanks

Tidy may be a more appropriate tool for the job, in this case.

Yup! Just call the preFilter and postFilter at the appropriate time from your own code.
