Re: Purifier strips valid content when html is badly malformed

Posted by Rob

Is there any way to get HTML Purifier to strip out any tags in the o: namespace. These <o:p> tags should be ignored. Their sole purpose is to allow Word/Outlook to reconstruct the HTML into something that Word understands; they should be ignored by anything trying to render the HTML. Unfortunately HTML Purifer turns them into ordinary <p> tags, which means you end up with twice as many paragraphs after HTML Purifier has parsed it.

Sorry, I posted that in the wrong thread, I meant to post it here: http://htmlpurifier.org/phorum/read.php?3,1905

Try setting %Core.LexerImpl to DirectLex?
